Oh. Mygod.

How could I not have known? Billy Mernit's blog post this morning led me to www.myheritage.com, because who wouldn't want to know what celebrities they look like? Yes, like most everyone else, I have been told I look like this one or that one over the years, and of course it's always flattering, because who's going to tell a woman they look like Donald Trump or Alice Cooper? Well, now I know the answer. Myheritage.com.

Luckily, I am only a 62% match with Alice Cooper, and a 61% match with Trump, and the rest of the list as follows:
Ashley Olson, 70% (is she the skinny one, or not?)
Elle MacPherson, 67%
Patsy Kensit, 66% (for those of you who remember her)
J.K. Rowling, 66% (because she looks so much like Patsy Kensit!)
Nicole Richie, 64%
Sofia Coppola, 62%
Francoise Hardy, 60% (????)

But the closest match, at 71%... should I make you guess? Or did you already guess correctly? That's right, the celebrity I most resemble is... BRITNEY SPEARS.

Everything is beginning to make sense to me now.

I think, discovering that I look like Britney Spears, Alice Cooper and Donald Trump in the same day is, well, whenever I want to think I look like Elle MacPherson I will just remember that I am still just a few points away from Alice Cooper.

britney! that's perfect. i mean, give your Federline reports, right.

i apparently have the identical chin (or at least in the photo i sent) to Mariah Carey, Princess Grace and Eva Mendes.

since Mendes is rumored to be messing around w/ my #1 celebrity boyfriend Joaquin, perhaps this indicates I am indeed his type would he only get off his lazy ass and come to Chicago to meet me.

no? :)

Cool!
Carolyn - I'm sure it is foreshadowing your future with J.Phoenix. BTW - thank you for your kind words on other post about my mom.

I'm sticking to Michelle Pfieffer, in concurrence with my bro-in-law. Everyone says I look like Kirstie Alley...to which I respond, "When? Before or after she got fat?" That usually shuts them up.

Speaking of celebrities, I was SO hoping you'd post your take on the Oscars. I think between NYC and LA you've met, like, half the nominees at some point. Patrick has said to me at least four times this week, "Did you know that Philip Seymour Hoffman won the Oscar for Best Actor?" PSH's acceptance speech almost made me cry. I wish he got more photo ops in the news instead of Reese Witherspoon. Bah.

Well, I posted one or two comments over at that Oscar Blog thingie, but I didn't even stay up until the end! It's true, I had met at least three of the nominees this year, if you count a brush with Clooney as a meeting.
