Every Now and Again My Faith in Humanity is Restored

Wonder Dog by Tony Fitzpatrick

I believe in artists supporting artists and when I find that other artists share this belief, I am happy.

That's all I have to say except look closely at this collage and read the poem. I think it might be the loveliest thing I've read in a while.

And you and Tony are two of my favorite artists, so seeing a collage of his on your blog made me very, very happy.

And, yes, the poem is lovely. In every collage he somehow manages to put into words and image things that seem unnameable, too private and internal to capture. He is magic to me in the way he does that. As are all artist that speak to us, I guess. As are you do. Making the invisible visible. The lonely and secret shared and known.

Thanks.

Aw! How sweet are you? But look at what you do - you just bring it all to be seen in whole new wonderful ways.
He's awesome, I know. And I am a closet collage-maker with severe gluing/lack of talent issues.
