Why.

Okay, please someone to explain why I need to be on more than one network such as myspace, friendster, linkedin and what have you. I'm confused. And I have only so much time to spend online looking for messages in six places.

I was thinking the exact same thing. For some dumb-ass reason, I have seven different email accounts, and that doesn't even include MySpace, Friendster and all of those teen-tastic sites. I thought having a cellphone made me too accessible. What the hell is wrong with us?

Well, it is a great way to avoid actually writing, not to mention those pesky and some time awkward in-person social obligations.

hehe, I agreee with, Ben. ;-) Seriously, as a lit guy turned techie, there's always a social network du jour. The trendy people have left myspace for facebook, and you should jump ship, too, if you want to be part of that roving herd.

I have to for work, but really don't suggest it for personal time.

Hm, I think I'm gonna let the roving herd rove without me for now.

Yeah, definitely do let it rove without you and support openid:

Every website should support folks who just want to have one username and one password.
