Yes, but is it wrong to fend off a "game on" by holding up your hand and declaring, "Don't go there, girlfriend?" Is that a two-wrongs-don't-make-a-right kinda scenario? Or might one argue that you're just deflecting stupidity with more stupidity?
Eric, I seriously thought about specifically mentioning the phrase "Don't go there", but I thought surely people knew by now not to use that one. Indeed, that is a three wrongs make exponentially uncountable wrongs.
Somebody needs to do an ever-current collection of things to stop saying. It would have to be constantly changing because these little memes come and go. Like 'too much information', although most people have thankfully stopped saying that now.
