Two major developments in my life this week:
I now have an iPod. An iPod I actually loaded with my own stuff. What I'm saying to you is that I figured this out.
I have also, thanks to a friend, (yo what up CB!), discovered a new website to obsess over called Pandora. Probably I'm the last one to know about it, but in case you're behind me, it's a music site where you create your own radio station and it's awesome. You plug in stuff you like and they give you more stuff you might like and they get it right way more often than not.
My station is called Awesome and Great Radio.

But way more important:

Hey new BFF,
In a fascinating coincidence, I too just figured out how to put music on and operate my new iPod last week. I was really excited that I did so, but was mocked by pretty much everyone I know for being excited. So I commend your accomplishment.

iPods are not as simple and "user friendly" as many would have you believe :)

only problem with pandora is it's about to disappear b/c of the radio copyright/who gets paid laws being argued right now (will affect all internet radio). have fun while it lasts!! :)

couldn't make it to ben's opening b/c i was sitting in dirt listening to music (pitchfork) but i'm planning to go see his show sometime soon!!!

Thanks, N! Carolyn, bummer! We wanted to go to Pitchfork but were too late on tickets! And would probably have been too tired anyway.

Oh, Craney-lamb, I so wanted to come out to the show, but, oy vey, did i have a wacky weekend. Know that I tried very hard and was there in spirit and will certainly be at the next one.
