Bunches of Readings

Hi Kids!
I've got readings all over the place in the next two weeks.

Friday, October 19, 7:00 at The Book Cellar: Come hear "Witty Women Writers" Stacey Ballis, Wendy McClure, Claire Zulkey, Jen Lancaster and me. 4736 N. Lincoln.

Saturday, October 20, 7:00 at Quimby's, 1854 W. North Ave: Ken Foster, Megan Stielstra, me, and maybe some dogs. Maybe my own dog Mr. P.

Thursday October 25, 7:30 The Fixx Coffee Bar, 3053 N Sheffield, with Roy Kesey (all the way from China!) and Jonathan Messinger.

And if you happen to have a limo, you could also go to the screening of Bubblerama at the River East AMC that same night at 6:30, details at www.bubblerama.com. It's only a half hour, so it could happen.

Hi, Elizabeth,
I'm going to try my hardest to get to the Fixx Coffee Bar on the 25th. I'm a Chicago area book critic/blogger, and member of the National Book Critics Circle. I'm in the middle of a virtual, email interview of Roy Kesey right now, and I wonder if I could feature you on my blogs (for my day job I work at my local public library and blog for the North Suburban Library System), and maybe if you would come to my library sometime and talk to my writers' group? Just touching base for now, and hope I can meet you on the 25th.

A reading at Quimby's with you and "maybe some dogs"? That is the most fabulous lineup I've ever heard. I'm kicking myself for not being in Chicago.

Please tell me that at least one and possibly several of the dogs will be on stage with you. Oh god, that's some kind of bliss.

And imagine a reading at Quimby's with Eric and "some dogs." It sounds like one of his porn scripts.

I don't know if you've ever read Jen Lancaster but she is hilarious. You will have so much fun.
