That seems to be the one and only time of day I find lovely in New York anymore. Only a few people on the street helps me see what's good about that place.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10624981.post-1126269246036671502005-09-09T07:34:00.000-05:002005-09-09T07:34:00.000-05:00I have a love/hate relationship with getting up ea...I have a love/hate relationship with getting up early. I'm generally up at 6:30, but I also like to stay awake until midnight. The math doesn't always work. (The key: automatic coffee maker, set to brew the pot 5-10 minutes before you wake up, so that when your alarm goes off you smell the coffee which makes you happy.)

I think mornings are underrated. The quiet of the morning is one of life's true pleasures. The quiet of an early Sunday morning is unequalled. Try it sometime. Get up at 7 on a Sunday to read the Times. You'll be cranky for the first 5 minutes...but soon thereafter, you'll be astonished at the pleasure of that part of the week. Better yet...take a walk at that time of the day on a Sunday. You won't regret it.Teodoro Callatehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15371287476297790857noreply@blogger.com
